Ms. Ramani will be joining Hillside Academy as our new Pre-K teacher beginning in September 2025. With over a decade of teaching experience across India, Japan, and the United States, Ramani brings a warm, student-centered approach and a global perspective to her classroom.

Ms. Ramani earned her Bachelor’s degree in Education (B.Ed.), a Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA), and a Bachelor’s in Commerce from Osmania University in Hyderabad, India. Most recently, she completed her EQEL certification in Early Childhood Education in Washington State. Her teaching experience includes working with preschool and kindergarten students at Rising Minds Preschool in Sammamish, WA, and at New Little Learning in Tokyo, Japan, as well as earlier roles in Hyderabad.

Ms. Ramani believes that every child’s mindset is unique and that instruction should be tailored to ensure no student is left behind. Her philosophy is simple yet powerful: “Before you start teaching, earn the child’s trust and love, by unlocking their heart with kindness.” She strives to make learning joyful, hands-on, and meaningful, always aiming for “learning fun” through exploration and creativity.

In the classroom, she loves integrating art and craft into lessons to make learning more engaging. Outside of work, she enjoys watching movies with her family, listening to music, and exploring new cultures. She has lived in London and Tokyo—experiences that have deeply shaped her both personally and professionally.

Ms. Ramani and her husband are proud parents of two children. Their daughter, Ananya, is a high school senior, and their son, Aarav, will be entering middle school this year. She is excited to become part of the Hillside Academy community and to create a caring, inspiring space for young learners to thrive.
