Hillside Academy’s Fresh Start Scholarship helps make a change possible for families seeking a small, supportive school community for the 2026–27 school year. With small class sizes, dedicated teachers, and a community where students are known and supported, Hillside Academy could be the fresh start your student needs.

About the Scholarship

Hillside is offering up to five competitive Fresh Start Scholarships for current 2nd – 7th grade students who are new to our school. Awarded scholarships provide $2000 to be applied toward pro-rated tuition for the remainder of the 2026-2027.

Application Process

Preliminary Steps

We invite all interested new families to tour Hillside Academy! Schedule a tour at a time that works for you HERE.

When signing up for a tour time with Sheri Martin Chen, Hillside’s Head of School, you’ll also be asked to fill out the Hillside Parent Questionnaire.

Additionally, please familiarize yourself with Hillside Academy at hillsideacademy.com to learn about our Elementary and Middle School programs that the scholarship is applicable towards.

Round 1

1. Indicate interest in the scholarship program via the Interest form.

2. Fill out the official Scholarship Application.

Round 2

4. Students participate in a class visit day (full-day visit).

5. Parent/Guardian and student participate in an interview.

Deadline
