Our outstanding preschool program provides a nurturing environment where children thrive. Through a play- and theme-based approach, we introduce children to the joy of learning, school routines, and beginning academics, while fostering essential social skills.

Engaging Learning Experiences
Our hands-on, theme-based activities encourage curiosity, creativity, and exploration. Children participate in sensory play, storytime, art, experiments, music and creative movement classes, all designed to stimulate cognitive, social, emotional, and physical growth.
Social and Emotional Development

A Foundation for Success
Our preschool 3’s class is designed to prepare children for our Pre-K class. Our Pre-K program, which combines play and exploration with hands-on math, Explode the Code Phonics, and Handwriting Without Tears to ensure children are fully prepared for kindergarten.

Preschool Program:
3 years old by 8/31 | Part-Time
Monday/Wednesday/Friday - 9:00AM until 12:00PM
Tuesday/Thursday - 9:00AM until 12:00PM
PreK Program:
4 years old by 8/31 | Part-Time
Monday through Thursday:
Morning Class - 9:30AM until 12:00PM
Afternoon Class - 1:00PM until 3:30PM

As a kindergarten teacher, I can clearly see how better prepared the students from Hillside’s preK are compared to students from other preschools. Hillside’s preschool programs offer a balance of play and age-appropriate curriculum that encourages students to use their natural curiosity and imagination to develop confidence in their physical, social, and academic abilities, as well as to cultivate a love of learning. This whole-child approach gives Hillside’s preschool students the foundation needed to be successful in not just their kindergarten year, but for their entire life-long educational journey.
